PageBreeze Free HTML Editor Editor's Review

If I were to describe 'PageBreeze' in a few words, I would say that this freeware for creating WebPages is simple and very efficient. It's easy-to-use and at the same time, it offers semi-advanced features. You can easily define the title, the description, and the keywords for your webpage. It's also possible to preview your web page in a special panel, or upload it to a FTP server.

PageBreeze features a built-in code editor, which supports highlighting HTML tags. If you're creating your first webpage or if you're not familiar with HTML, then this is certainly not the place where you should start. However, you can use the "Normal" tab from the user interface to create a simple web page. When you click this tab, a 'WYSIWYG' editor is displayed. The program's main menu enables you to add special items to your page. You can add images, tables, horizontal lines, or forms.

I tried to use the program for modifying a dynamic page, written in PHP. The program is not intended to do that, but I was able to add text to that webpage. The program can also be used to add forms to a webpage. You can add textboxes, list boxes, drop-down lists, radio buttons, and so on.

Pluses: The publisher offers a web form processing service. This means that you receive e-mails or feedback directly from your website.

Drawbacks / flaws:

In conclusion: PageBreeze is a good tool for generating simple web pages. Its main advantage over others is that it's free.
